Onder de voet is een wrat soms minder goed zichtbaar. Door het constante staan en lopen kan de wrat naar binnen gedrukt worden, waardoor deze sterk lijkt op een <strong><a href=\"\/klachten\/klachten-in-de-voet\/likdoorn\/\">likdoorn<\/a><\/strong>. Pijnklachten kunnen optreden wanneer er druk op de zijkanten van de wrat wordt uitgeoefend. Als deze methode geen resultaat oplevert, kan de podotherapeut de wrat behandelen met <strong>monochloorazijnzuur<\/strong>, wat effectiever is dan stikstof. Wanneer de wrat veel pijn veroorzaakt, kan tijdelijke viltherapie worden toegepast of kunnen er <a href=\"\/behandeling\/steunzolen\/\"><strong>podotherapeutische zolen<\/strong><\/a> worden
